Punch Cigars | Churchill / 7 x 48
Punch Golden Era Toro Churchill cigars are a throwback to the late 1880s when Corojo tobacco played a key role in almost every blend. this desirable tobacco, first grown in Cuba, then abandoned due to blue mold disease, has been successfully grown by the Eiroa family on their Honduran factory for the last several decades. Corojo wrapper leaves are prized for their oily, deep brown color, and uniquely rich flavor and aroma . These 7 x 48 Honduran puros are expertly handcrafted at Eiroa’s Fabrica de Puros Aladino factory using a dark and oily, Corojo wrapper, Honduran Havana seed Corojo binder, and a long filler blend of Habano and Corojo tobaccos. The end result was a medium bodied smoke oozing with luscious flavors of earth, leather, cinnamon, and spice , backed by a unique, brown sugar sweetness. Overall, this was a delicious cigar that gave me a great appreciation for Corojo tobacco.
