A very good cigar. It is one of those cigars that you can smoke from the start to the finish and as you smoke it just gets better. It was hard for me to put it down. This and the La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amore Box Pressed Maduro Belicosa are my favorites. It has a good draw and gets more complex as you smoke it.

I understand that this cigar was rated number 1 on a blind taste test, but I was not impressed with this at all. The taste was bitter and had a horrible after taste. It lit well but it felt like a cheap cigar smoking it. I actually only smoked a third of it before putting it down. There's cigars with the same price point that would smoke this cigar down past the top 100. Go and pick up a Liga Prirada T52 or Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro and tell everyone the dramatic difference in all aspects. Hopefully this was just a fluke and maybe I just got a bad cigar. I smoke one to two premiums daily so maybe my expectations are too high for this cigar to hit. Buy with caution as you might be disappointed. I hope this helps another from throwing money at a less-than-par cigar.
A no-show at the wedding

I was looking for some cigars for my daughter's wedding reception. After seeing the cigar won top honors for the year 2012 (wedding was April 2013)I bought 20 and thought timing and availability couldn't be better. The tobacconist gave me one to try so I wouldn't have to break mine open. After my smoke the cigars never made it to the reception. I kept them for myself. It is now my favorite cigar and glad to see TC is carrying it. I just ordered another box.
