Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 Churchill Sumatra Box of 20

The first look of this cigar is a great build with a great firmness at the foot. Cut great and was easy to toast and light. I'm writing this as I try it and about halfway through at the moment and it seems very mild so far. The very beginning is very earthy and mellow. It transitions into a creamy leather. I do not prefer leathery cigars but this has enough creamy notes to actually make it enjoyable. With about 3.5 inches left the draw is getting a little firmer. It is getting more leathery too with a mild-medium strength now. The ash on this is gorgeous! This is beginning to finish very nicely. Medium strength with creamy leather and notes of mocha. The mocha is ever so slight if you were not critiquing it you might not notice it. The draw is back to normal now as it was when it began. Some cigars dry out your mouth but this is mouthwatering literally and figuratively. The very end is wowing me! The only other cigar to do that to me was the decade torpedo, very impressive compared to the strength difference between them. The final finish is toasty and creamy and just great to say the least. One small complaint, with 2 inches left it begins to unravel. Despite that it is a phenomenal and it burned evenly the whole time. I highly recommend this to anybody. The price can scare you from frequent purchases but everybody needs a treat every now and then. Sorry for any typos because I am writing this on my iPod. Happy Smoking

This cigar is a true masterpiece not to mention my second favorite of all time. Each draw is like a big breath of sweet, supple smoothnes. I always have them in stock and after you try one you'll be in love with them too. They have the most personality of any mild to medium smoke I've tasted. Even non-smokers enjoy the pleasant aroma delivered by this 71/2" by 46 beauty of a cigar. This is also my favorite gift for other smokers who know what's what, and so far they have all been very happy. With the wonderful prices from Thompson these are a treasure that anyone can get their hands on. There's nothing left to say but, enjoy!
