Cavalier Tres Delincuentes Connecticut Toro was a smooth mellow-to- medium bodied smoke that was easy to enjoy with its top-notch construction and great burn. The cigar is made in Honduras with a beautiful darker than normal Ecuador Connecticut wrapper encasing an Ecuadorian Habano binder and aged fillers from Nicaragua, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. While smoking this cigar, I detected notes of baking spices, leather, cedar, and subtle hints of vanilla bean, before a peppery finish. The tropical colored band and elegant box packaging added some pizazz to the overall presentation. When it comes to rich, Connecticut style cigars, this one is an absolute winner and a must try for smokers craving delicious complex flavors without the added strength.
