Handmade in the beautiful country of Nicaragua by some of the most skilled cigar rollers and craftsmen around, the Perdomo Habano Barrel Aged Robusto Connecticut (5" x 54) is a smooth-medium bodied cigar that flaunts an exceptional draw on a blend of three different Nicaraguan filler tobaccos that are complex, full of flavor with aromatic tobaccos from Condega, and naturally sweet tobaccos from the Jalapa Valley. Perdomo Habano tops off the blend with a mellow and creamy Connecticut wrapper. The wrapper is aged for 6 years and is placed in bourbon barrels for an extra 14 months soaking up the bourbon essence of the barrels.

I received a sampler of these in a 5 pack along with another type of Perdomo and and three other brands, surprisingly this type of Perdomo amazed me with the depth of flavor and its slow burning easy to draw smoke. After trying the first one I knew I had found my new personal cigar,not only is it great for special occasions but is fantastic as an everyday cigar and you couldn't go wrong giving them as a gift if you can get yourself to part with even just one. I still enjoy the Perdomo Maduros' I also purchased along with the other 2 brands but the Connecticut cut Perdomos have definitely from here on out become my cigar of choice for all occasions. They are especially good after a filling meal to put your feet up and relax with. I know if you try them you to will see that the quality of these cigars are second to none.
