This morning I smoked a Decade Robustos. It's the first one I've smoked in 5 years. It came in a CP Sampler I recently purchased.

Starting with a really nice looking dark wrapper and a clean press on the cigar. Very uniform in the squeeze test. Pre light aroma of the wrapper was mildly barnyard like.

Dark chocolate and espresso forward, a subtle sweetness that builds enriching both of those forward flavors and aromas. Very complementing spice and slight pepperiness that just works. Nutty with this leather that bends towards earth in all the right ways. Hints of vanilla and the slightest caramel. Perfect draw and plenty of smoke. Feels so right in the hand and I am a sucker for a good box pressed. Savor it, it will punch you if you hurry it. Absolutely love it.
