I received a sample from Ashton after inquiring about the replacement for the Peterson Robusto that Ashton used to manufacture for Petersons of Ireland. These are wonderful, well made with dark brown wrapper, easy draw and a perfect dark grey ash along with its peppery flavor that is consistent all the way to the nub. Some Robustos are disappointing due to them being made almost as an after thought; this Robusto certainly is not one of them. I can understand its high rating with Cigar Insider of 93. If all of the sizes in this blend are as good as the Robusto, Ashton and Don Pepin Garcia have hit a home run!

a smooth good burn. Held the ash for well over an inch & half. Good flavor and taste during the whole cigar. No harsh or ashie after taste either. Good for any occasion.
