Solid Build, Disappointing Flavor
Christopher M.

The Don Rafael Connecticut #57 looked good overall, with a nice wrapper and an aroma that I couldn’t quite identify but found pleasant. Once lit, it started with a mild spicy, peppery feel, but the flavor quickly turned off for me, with an odd, almost chemical-like taste that I’ve noticed before in other cigars. The burn stayed even, which I appreciated, and the ash had a nice silver color, though it was a bit flaky. Smoke output was moderate, and the cigar sat in the mild-to-medium strength range. While the construction was solid, the flavor wasn’t enjoyable, and overall I wasn’t impressed.

Crazy burn issues

I enjoy the body and taste of these cigars. However I have smoked a high percentage of these sticks that have HORRIBLE BURN ISSUES!the first half seems to burn well, but that turns into a ball of hard unlightable "cherry" that needs to be cut off to be able to light to be able to continue the cigar. This happens again and again for the rest of the cigar! I don't I will buy again. .
