The good news for us, he succeeded and what we got was one of the best boutique brands in the cigar industry. Garagiste is a true exhibition of Illusione’s consistent quality. It’s an absolute gem of a premium that utilizes ligero long-fillers from two different regions in Nicaragua as well as a blend of Criollo ‘98 and Corojo ‘99. It all comes together inside a Habano Ecuador wrapper. This combo packs on the flavor with notes of wood, earth, spice, and cocoa. Totally indulgent with flavor spilling out of the seams. Garagiste earned a well-deserved 90-point rating from noting: “The draw and burn of this cigar are even and consistent. Notes of vanilla and oolong tea are balanced by earthy undertones and a maple-pecan sweetness.”

I am fortunate enough to live close to "Fumare", the Illusione flagship cigar store in Reno, NV, so I've had most of the cigars of the brand. Garagiste is unsurpassed, for my taste. These are great cigars at any price. If you haven't tried them, you MUST.
I still smoke other cigars (not one to settle for one brand, and certainly not one style in a brand), but Illusione has been my mainstay for the last 2 years since discovering them/Fumare, and Garagiste is my favorite in the Illusione cigar line.
Could be my daily smoke!

this stick has become my favorite, in fact, if i had a "cigar of the day," this would fit the bill. this slow-burning cigar, is medium to full bodied with just enough "pepper" to make it interesting. the size and mouth feel are perfect and the price is certainly agreeable tpo my budget. would recommend this stick to anyone, who may be looking for something different.
