His son, Nick Perdomo III seems to be walking the same path with this tribute to his father, Perdomo Legacy. Showcasing their new hybrid leaf, a combination of Cameroon and Cuban seed, Legacy has a lot going for it..Cigars come and go from my desk like the tide. That’s why Perdomo Legacy Maduro caught my attention. Not only does it boast a 10-year-aged Maudro wrapper leaf (aged 14 months in bourbon barrels), but the new hybrid leaf is put into play as the binder. Medium to full-bodied and packing generous notes of cocoa bean, coffee, and dark toast, it’s a winner. To all the Perdomo Maduro fans, you should be all over this one.

Really like Perdomo Maduro cigars (30th* & 20th anniversary, Habano, and the Double aged 12 year) and was really hoping this cigar would be in that realm. Unfortunately it wasn't. Has a really good draw from beginning to end and a nice even burn. It's the flavor that is a let down. From initial draw to the last all I tasted was pepper. Every so often a slight floral flavor would emerge and then BAM!!! nothing but pepper again. It's not a horrible cigar, but in the future I'll stick with my usual and pass this by.

Another hit from Perdomo. What a treat this cigar is. Draw, burn, and construction are second to none and the flavors don't disappoint. If you like Maduro, then you'll love this cigar.
