Partagas Black Label employs Cuban-seed Medio Tempo leaves to encase Nicaraguan Ligero and Dominican Piloto Cubano Ligero long-fillers enhancing the full-bodied taste. The wrapper is darker, heavier and richer than other wrappers because they are harvested only after they have been allowed to age longer than other wrappers. The La Vega Especial binder used in the Black Label is sun-grown in the Dominican Republic to give it a deep, rich flavor of its own. Partagas combines these tobaccos with a larger ring gauge translating into a richer, fuller-bodied flavor.
