The Warzone Toro is a collaboration between Espinosa Cigars and General Cigar Co., marking the first time Espinosa used a Cameroon wrapper. Released in 2019, the cigar commemorates Cuba’s Ten Year War for independence from Spain, reflected in the name and box artwork. Crafted at Espinosa’s La Zona factory in Nicaragua, the cigar features a dark, toothy African Cameroon wrapper over a Honduran binder and fillers from Colombia and Nicaragua. The flavor profile is bold and complex, starting with cedar, leather, and black pepper, then evolving into earth, toast, espresso, and subtle sweetness. The draw is smooth, and the construction is solid, with a consistent burn and white ash.
