Growing up in the industry under their father Alan Rubin, Alec and Bradley are now second-generation cigar makers and they are ready to take on the industry. Gatekeeper was their second release and by teaming up with Ernesto Perez Carrillo, these brothers have set themselves up for success and opened the gates to new tobaccos and blending techniques.Gatekeeper is a medium-bodied cigar that consists of an Ecuador Habano wrapper draped over a Nicaraguan binder and a blend of long fillers from the Dominican and Nicaragua. These tobaccos combined give this cigar a robust flavor including natural tobacco, espresso, and black pepper. This cigar thrives at cookouts, on a golf course or simply enjoying a summer’s day.
