Black Works Studio is the second brand from James and Angela Brown’s Oveja Negra factory. Each cigar within the Black Works (BLK WKS) line is a unique experiment. This is true of the Killer Bee Connecticut, which is being re-released as a core line product. Once James realized how much fans loved the cigar, he removed the event exclusivity and made it available every day.Much like the original Killer Bee, the Connecticut keeps the striking box and band designs along with maduro leaf accents for the signature cap styling representing a bee’s stripes and on the closed foot of the cigar. Inside the cigar, you’ll find Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos under a beautiful Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. James Brown, creator of BLK WKS and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra says that this is not what you expect from a typical Connecticut cigar “The Connecticut wrapper gives an added creaminess and changes up the spice components quite a bit”.
