The draw, burn, and ash are impeccable. The ash feels like it never wants to leave the cigar. It's almost pure white in color and solid. This is a theme in many of the Raymond Pages made cigars I've smoked.

As I smoked this one, the flavors pickup as does the body. Past the half way mark, I'm saying medium plus bodied with those same great flavors only now they're more pronounced. I'm really amazed at how well balanced this cigar is. The finish is nice and doesn't linger too long. I appreciate that about this cigar. There's something quite special about smoking a BVEL. I say this because I want to reach for another the minute I finish one.
I bought the Short Gordos, Robustos, and Toro. I'm smoking a Robusto as I write this.

These have a really great looking wrapper covering a magnificent blend of filler leaf and the binder. They're rolled as good or better than any cigar on the market today at any price. They are rock solid in the hand and very uniform. The pre light aroma is as fragrant as I've ever experienced. I get a ton of barnyard with nice nuances of both sweet wild flowers and fresh cedar.
