I bought "fivers" of 3 different Kristoff cigars including one fiver of the Pistoff. I've seen these cigars at B&M stores for years. I have no idea why, but until recently I never grabbed any to try. The packaging is attractive as are the cigars when I've looked at them over the years.

DaPage has a sale and I jumped in. TBH, my expectations were pretty high based on the way the cigars looked. All 3 of the various lines I purchased including the Pistoff are portrayed as somewhat stout cigars. I didn't get any of that at all from any of the 3 lines. The Pistoff is like the other 2 lines I tried. Very average tasting with nothing that I found particularly noteworthy in the flavor profiles. They're all made pretty well and look good. They all smoked just fine too. In other words a nice draw and a pretty even burn. I was hoping for more depth of flavor and a bit of oomph. For me these were disappointing from that aspect.
