CAO Flathead Steel Horse Roadkill / 5.5 x 54 Box of 18
CAO Flathead Steel Horse Roadkill is without a doubt the least appealing name that a company could give to a premium cigar. That said, it just happens to be one of the tastiest sticks Ive smoked in quite a while. The first thing I noticed when I first saw this 5 x54 Robusto, was its unique box-pressed shape that was covered by a beautiful seamless reddish-brown wrapper with plenty of natural surface oils. This pristine leaf covered a spicy Brazilian binder and core of long fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. Thanks to the box-press shape, Roadkill had a nice easy draw while displaying flavorful notes of earth, leather, raisins, cedar, and toffee. The cigar is billed as a medium -to-full bodied smoke but I found it to be leaning towards the medium side. Overall, Roadkill was a fantastic cigar, and kudos to CAO for having a bizarre sense of humor. Try some, you wont be disappointed.
