Made by AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua, Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Edicion Diamante Churchill cigars consists solely of Nicaraguan tobaccos, from Estel, Jalapa, and the fertile volcanic soils of Ometepe. This three region Nicaraguan puro blend is a great follow up to the original Montecristo 1935 Anniversary cigars. I have smoke both brands, but find Diamante Churchill to be equally satisfying although slightly smoother in taste. The cigar is billed as medium-full in strength, however the lush notes of chocolate, coffee, pepper, cinnamon, and spice , in my opinion, were leaning more towards the medium bodied side. That said, Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Edicion Diamante Churchill is a very approachable smoke for both newbies, and well-seasoned cigar connoisseurs alike. Try a few , and I think you will agree that is a fantastic stick that belongs in every smokers premium cigar collection.
