The Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Edicion Diamante Grande Diamante cigar is a Nicaraguan puro rolled at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua. This exquisite old world figurado uses the finest premium tobaccos sourced from Estel, Jalapa and the volcanic soils of Ometepe. The cigars are then covered by a beautiful oily and dark hybrid wrapper developed by Fernandez exclusively for this celebratory blend. The Diamantes wrapper had a silky smooth texture and a nice oily sheen. This was a medium-to-full bodied smoke whose deeply aged tobaccos provided creamy textured notes of earth, wood, cinnamon, and cocoa, around a core of signature Nicaraguan spice.
