The Bosphorus B54 is part of the first release from Ozgener Family Cigars, founded by Tim Ozgener, son of CAO Cigars founder Cano Ozgener. The name “Bosphorus” honors the family’s Turkish heritage, referencing the strait that separates Europe and Asia. This cigar is handcrafted at Tabacalera Pichardo in Nicaragua and later moved to Tabacalera La Alianza in the Dominican Republic. It features a dark Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, dual binders, and rich Nicaraguan fillers. The flavor profile is bold and complex. It opens with pepper and cream, followed by espresso, caramel, and dark chocolate. Cinnamon spice and sweet molasses add depth. The aroma is earthy and sweet, and the burn is smooth and consistent.
