Released in 2018, it features the same Nicaraguan binder and filler but swaps the orange-hued wrapper for a dark Brazilian Mata Fina leaf. The name “Escuro” means “dark” in Portuguese, fitting the cigar’s rich appearance and flavor. Handcrafted at AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua, this cigar is known for its solid construction and smooth box-pressed shape. The Escuro Toro delivers a full-bodied experience with a complex flavor profile. Expect notes of espresso, cocoa, leather, earth, natural sweetness, and nuttiness. The smoke is rich and smooth, with a long, satisfying finish.
