Rave BP Robusto comes out of Fabrica Oveja Negra in Nicaragua with an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper, Ecuadorian binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Pennsylvania, giving the smoke sweet cedar, nuts, leather, and pepper in a box pressed 5 1/2 x 52 frame. It starts creamy, then picks up a bolder stride that makes the profile feel richer than the wrapper color suggests.
