Dark, oily, and unapologetically bold, Murcielago Gordo takes Erik Espinosa’s cult-favorite blend and stretches it into a thick, full-bodied Nicaraguan smoke wrapped in Mexican San Andrés maduro. Earth, coffee, chocolate, and black pepper come in heavy early, then the bigger format lets a sweeter side show through, like espresso, dark cocoa, raisin, and a little maple over charred oak. It is rich stuff, but the balance keeps it from turning rough, so you get plenty of power with a smooth, slow burn.
