There were two highly anticipated limited releases from Espinosa at the 2026 PCA trade show in New Orleans. This 20th Anniversary Blue Label was one of them. The first time around, 601 Blue was a humidor champ – and 20 years later, we still hold this Maduro-wrapper wonder in high regard, as high as we do Erik Espinosa. He’s well-known in cigar circles for making the room burst out in laughter; part of his charm, and why it’s been a treat doing business with him for more than 2 decades (and we wouldn’t have it any other way). So when he revealed this 601 Blue Label 20th Anniversary, we were all in – because we knew it would be worth the wait!Made for 601 at AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano factory, this amazing Maduro is PACKED with Nicaraguan long filler tobacco, held together with a Nicaraguan binder, and coated with an exquisite Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.
