Macanudo Inspirado Black Toro - Single of 1
Macanudo took an unexpected turn with Inspirado Black, building this blend around a tobacco-growing technique more often discussed in the field than on the band. The Connecticut Broadleaf used for the wrapper is part of what gives the cigar its darker, richer character, while the lineβs identity is shaped by a balanced profile that stays grounded rather than overpowering. In the Toro, that approach comes through with medium-bodied depth, notes of mocha, spice, and nuts, and a fuller impression than many smokers associate with the Macanudo name.An Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Nicaraguan Esteli filler round out the blend, creating a smoke that is flavorful without becoming heavy. The 5 1/2 x 54 Toro offers a substantial format for this expression, with an estimated smoking time of about 60 to 80 minutes depending on pace. It is a strong fit for smokers who enjoy broadleaf character delivered with more refinement than brute force.

Just look at this rapper. Oily Sheen and chocolate aroma. Pair that with a no holds barred.... surely a ligero heavy blend
... and and you get a Macanudo that's long over due.

Great stick with a full belly (and some Pendelton whiskey). Great construction, even greater oily looks, slightly hard draw (nothing the Perfecdraw or 2 weeks in the humidor can fix), ash stacks like quarters and holds very well, lots of smoke. Burns straight most of the time, no relights. Medium-full cigar with notes of earth, leather, creamy espresso and a little bit of cedar and pepper on the retro hale. Mellows out a bit in the 2nd third (no pepper) with lots of cream. Last third kicks back in gear, good long creamy flavor with some pepper and faint vanilla down to the nubby nub nub (doesn't run hot!). 90 minutes of goodness. Will buy again.
