Tatuaje Limited Release Old Man And The C Monster Dark Natural | Varies | Coffin of 4
There’s just no denying that Pete Johnson has cornered the Monster Cigar market. Every year (and sometimes even several times within the year), Tatuaje adds a new limited-edition beast to his collection of ghoulish smokables. For the fall of ’26, it’s something REALLY deep.First things first: if you know anything about Pete, you’d understand that he’s on a mission to educate the cigar community about old-world blending and traditional cigar making through Tatuaje cigars. Just look at the school cigar terms he’s using, like ‘Cazadores’ and ‘Diademas.’ Way back in 2011, when he launched the first Old Man and the C, the hot topic was Culebra cigars – and he explained how Cuban Factory workers were allowed just one cigar to take home at the end of their shift, so they braided 3 as 1 and tied them together to capitalize on a good thing. That original ‘C’ was comprised of three (3) Lancero 7 ½ x 38 cigars neatly braided for an eye-catching presentation. The cigar community enjoyed the lesson that gave new life to the Culebra. Enter ‘The Old Man and the C Monster’ – a revival of the original concept, but Pete’s added a few extra twists. The first was to include them in Tatuaje’s wildly popular Monster series of cigars with Halloween looming on the horizon. The second (and more profound) twist was to use a larger 7 x 44 Lonsdale format to weave into a Culebra. The result features a flip top wooden crate box holding one “Old Man” and one “C Monster”, which technically breaks down to 3 “Old Men”. All blended identically at the My Father Cigars factory (like all Tatuaje cigars) with all-Nicaraguan tobacco, resulting in a full-bodied, full-flavored experience much like the rest of the Tatuaje lineup. Famous Cigars has received a full allocation of The Old Man and the C Monster cigars, but we must remind you that they are still a Limited Edition and will not be available for long. Drop these in your cart for door-to-door delivery right away – because missing out on these Monsters is a downright scary proposition.
