A listing qualifies when its price beats the next-best price for the same cigar in the same pack size at every other store we track. We compare box to box and five-pack to five-pack, never a single against a box. Deals with an implausible gap are held back for review rather than published. A second kind, marked "below its usual price", is a listing at the only store we track that carries it, priced well under the usual price we recorded for that exact listing over the last 30 days.
Every deal lists each store that carries the same cigar and what it charges right now, sorted cheapest first. Nothing is hidden behind the click. If only three stores carry it, the receipt says three.
Each store is crawled on its own cadence. An hourly job re-checks every published deal against the newest data we hold, a daily job reads the winning price straight off the store's own page, and a deal is pulled the moment the comparison stops holding.
Deals come down as soon as the winning price rises, sells out, or loses to another store. Ended deals stay visible for 24 hours marked GONE so you can see what you missed and what it went for. MAP-restricted brands always show list price.
