SKU: K5-GHI6052An oily Costa Rican maduro wrapper encases a solid blend of Colombian, Honduran, and Dominican long leaves for a complex, earthy flavor profile. Aged in cedar for over 5 years, the aroma is to die for. Layers of complexity, thick, chewy smoke. Med-full.

I have smoked several of these and find them to be a solid, tasty smoke. I have the Titan XO and you have to like big gauge for starters. It is definitely med/full, good smoke output, and smooth. Burn is not perfect but no re-lights. For the price point, definitely worth a try.

I used my guillotine cutter for a very shallow cut. I could see if you are someone that cuts a hunk off how the cigar would unravel on you. It might be best to use a punch.

The ash is very white and was flaky on the first third. The main note on retro is cedar. This isnβt a complex cigar but it was enjoyable. The burn is mostly even and didnβt require any touchups or relights. The strength was mostly medium until the final third where it picked up to the advertised medium full. The retro picked up some spice on that last third as well. I would recommend the cigar but would add that you should take great care in cutting it.
