Drew Estate has expanded its Nica Rustica family with the Nica Rustica Shade Toro 6x50. It’s part of the third cigar series that follows the release of Broadleaf and Adobe. First spotted without a band in Drew Estate’s Freestyle Live collection, the shade comes officially boxed and dressed in decorative packaging. Like the rest of the series, this cigar pays tribute to people and neighborhoods in Esteli, Nicaragua that inspired the brand. This Toro is wrapped in a golden sun-kissed Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade leaf. Underneath sits a Mexican binder and a mix of Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Pennsylvania fillers that add amazing depth to an already fantastic cigar. The draw opens buttery, then flashes pepper before settling into earthy and woodsy notes in a mellow to medium-bodied experience.
