E.P. Carrillo La Historia Doña Elena Box of 20

The La Historia line was launched in 2014 to honor the Perez-Carrillo family. Each cigar in the series is named after a family member. The Doña Elena pays tribute to Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s wife. These cigars are handmade at Tabacalera La Alianza in the Dominican Republic. The blend features a dark, oily Mexican San Andrés wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and fillers from Nicaragua. The cigar is box-pressed and offers a rich, layered smoking experience. Expect flavors of earth, hay, leather, semi-sweet chocolate, baking spices, wood, cocoa, pepper, and white pepper. Later stages bring notes of almonds, pretzels, and a touch of citrus and butterscotch. It’s a complex and balanced cigar that fits well in the premium cigars category.
