A dark Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper covers Nicaraguan binder and long-filler tobaccos, creating a full-strength cigar with a substantial Maduro character. Released in 2019 as the darker counterpart to Espinosa's original Laranja Reserva, Escuro takes its name from the Portuguese word for "dark." Produced at AJ Fernandez's San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua, the blend presents espresso, oak, earth, dark spice, and subtle mineral notes with a firm, savory finish.
