The Laranja Reserva Toro was released in 2014 and quickly became one of Espinosa’s most celebrated cigars. The name “Laranja” means “orange” in Portuguese, inspired by the orange hue of the Brazilian wrapper. This unique wrapper, sourced from the Reconcavo region of Brazil, gives the cigar its signature look and flavor. Handcrafted at the La Zona Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, the Laranja Reserva Toro helped establish Espinosa as a leader in boutique cigars. It earned a 94 rating and was ranked #13 in Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2015. Flavor-wise, this cigar delivers a rich and complex profile. Expect notes of graham cracker, citrus zest, white pepper, cedar, nuts, and natural sweetness. The smoke is smooth, balanced, and Cuban-esque in character, with a long, satisfying finish.
