Murcielago Toro BP Box of 20
Murcielago means “bat” in Spanish. The cigar was first introduced in 2009 and quickly gained popularity for its bold profile. After a brief hiatus, Erik Espinosa relaunched the brand in 2015, and in 2017, it entered its third iteration with a new look and aged tobaccos. The blend was reverse-engineered and is now produced in collaboration with AJ Fernandez at the San Lotano factory in Nicaragua. This box-pressed Toro features a dark, oily Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. The flavor profile is rich and complex, offering notes of dark chocolate, espresso, sweet raisin, black pepper, maple syrup, oak, cocoa, and roasted nuts. The cigar burns evenly and delivers a smooth, full-bodied experience with a dense, aromatic smoke.
