The Plasencia Alma del Cielo Boreal is part of the Alma series, known for its rich heritage and high-quality craftsmanship. “Cielo” means “sky,” and this cigar lives up to its name—grown at over 3,500 feet above sea level at Finca San Julián in Condega, Nicaragua. This land, once owned by Nestor Plasencia’s grandmother, was reclaimed by the family and transformed into a premium tobacco farm. This cigar is a Nicaraguan puro, made entirely from tobacco grown on that high-altitude farm. The Jalapa wrapper is silky and smooth, giving the cigar a refined appearance. The flavor profile is complex and balanced. It starts with creamy sweetness like marzipan and honey, followed by nougat, cedar, and earthy notes. As it develops, you’ll taste orange zest, baking spices, and a touch of ginger. The hexagonal box-press and crisp blue band make it stand out visually as well.
