The CAO Flathead Resonator is the newest and longest cigar in the Flathead line, measuring a massive 8 inches long with a 60-ring gauge. Like the rest of the Flathead series, it’s inspired by classic American muscle cars—each cigar named after a car part. The “Resonator” refers to a component in a car’s exhaust system that reduces engine noise, fitting the cigar’s bold yet smooth character. Handcrafted at the STG Estelí factory in Nicaragua, the Resonator features a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, a Connecticut Habano binder, and a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. It’s box-pressed with a flat head, staying true to the line’s signature design. Flavor-wise, it delivers a full-bodied experience with notes of leather, spice, cocoa, molasses, and earth, balanced by a natural sweetness. The smoke is thick and chewy, and the long size makes it a slow-burning, satisfying session cigar.
