A long awaited release from a limited lineThe Onyx line is Altadis ace up their sleeve. The brand has one national release, the Onyx Reserve. Upon it's release, the Reserve earned 94 points in a 2001 Cigar Insider blind tasting and, like most cigars at that time, leaned more towards the milder side. Onyx Bold Nicaragua has a blend of Nicaraguan binder and filler encased inside a Mexican San Andres wrapper that has been aged 4 years and offers notes of spice, earth, and leather.
