La Galera 1936 Box Press Toro El Lector - 21 Cigars

After solidifying his reputation as Tobacco Champion by supplying amazing leaves for top-rated Aging Room and La Flor Dominicana blends (among others), fourth generation Dominican tobacco grower Jochy Blanco has struck out on his own with the prestigious La Galera cigar line. But this was no overnight endeavor. That sly dog Blanco tucked away some of his finest tobaccos 7 years ago to age quietly in preparation for the La Galera 1936 cigar. The tobaccos in question are Piloto Cubano and Criollo 98 leaves that are used in the filler, another Criollo 98 as the binder, and a smooth Ecuador Habano wrapper. After their lengthy nap, these leaves have been combined to release a delicious wave of earthy, peppery, and balanced flavor with notes of cocoa, espresso, and more. Its a complex smoke with refined character thats already been rated as high as 91 by Cigar Aficionado & should be sold for way more. But, because Jochy is a gentleman and you buy at BCP, youll get them for a song. Go for it.
