Like its original cousins, the 5.88 60 Gigante uses the 19th century method of Pilon cured tobaccos, which is a carefully layered stack of tobacco leaves that helps ferment the tobacco to maximize the flavor. In the case of Pilon Anejo Gigante, a blend of Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos are aged an additional two years to maximize the flavors even further. All of this extra aging amounts to a medium-to-full bodied smoke that provides thick clouds of dense smoke while serving up creamy smooth flavors of spice, chocolate, leather, and coffee, backed by plenty of natural tobacco sweetness.
