This annual limited release is rolled at AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano Factory in Nicaragua and comes in a distinct oval-pressed 6 x 54 Toro. A Mexican Claro wrapper brings a bright, slightly sweeter touch to its all-Nicaraguan binder and fillers. Medium-full in strength, Chef’s Special 2026 serves up cedar, espresso, dark chocolate, cream, and black pepper, with a little orange zest showing up along the way. It has the bold Knuckle Sandwich attitude you expect, just plated with a little more polish. Only 4,000 boxes of 10 were made, so get yourself a box before this Chef’s Special is off the menu.
