New World Dorado As such, he's created a new brand named after his private Dorado farm in Esteli, Nicaragua. The name Dorado itself comes from how Fernandez noticed a certain golden hue to the land after he began cultivating it. The results certainly live up to the name, as the radiant Nicaraguan tobacco is on full display for every aspect of the cigar's profile. While medium-bodied in strength, when describing the flavor, the only word that seemed to come to mind was "golden".
Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua Montecristo is proud to unveil the most premium cigar yet. Aged longer than any other tobacco theyβve produced, the 1935 sets a new benchmark for the entire brand. Montecristo has taken everything theyβve learned since they rolled their first cigar, and put it into the 1935. Smoking one, you can taste the decades long legacy of craftsmanship and dedication that has made Montecristo synonymous with excellent cigars.
Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Constructed using a refined blend of impeccable Dominican tobacco, and rolled into a zesty Cameroon wrapper. Building off a balanced medium bodied profile, lighting it offers the rich taste of earth, cedar, oak, espresso beans, and chestnuts. A cigar that feels tailor-made for a special occasion, it's one of the few sticks that pair well with champagne.
La Aurora 120th Anniversary The blend is monitored and adjusted to ensure peak performance at every level. A high calibre Dominican puro, made with pristine tobacco from the famed Cibao Valley. Harvest by La Aurora and its trusted partners to make sure that the quality is always above and beyond. All rolled in a gorgeous Haban 92' seed leaf wrapper. Any of its vitolas offers the full bodied taste of cocoa, pepper, cinnamon, tropical fruit, and coffee beans. Despite its strong profile, the power of the tobacco never overwhelms the tasting notes. Creating a balance that only generations of blenders could achieve. We look forward to another glorious century of La Aurora.
Escobar Every single one of Escobar's premium cigars are hand-crafted from a gleaming blend of vintage, sun-grown Habano tobacco grown in the rich soil of the volcanic Nicaraguan tobacco fields. Each one provides a complex, intricately layered flavor profile that blesses the palate with the medium-bodied tastes of sweet vanilla, white pepper, dried fruit, hardy cocoa, syrupy caramel, all tinged with the rich aftertaste of earthy leather and zesty Chinese spices. Escobar Cigars were created for aficionados who want to taste the full spectrum of what premium tobacco has to offer.

Greatest Sampler

Have tried many of Mike's samplers and by far the best. You start off with the Don Carlos which is one of the best cigars in the world today. Though new the Escobar is really tasty. You'll never go wrong with any of AJ Fernandez's blends and Dorado is one of his best. The Montecristo 1935 is a top 5 cigar in CA's yearly ratings. If there was a low point in this sampler it would be the La Aurora, but that's probably just me. This is a sampler that I'll order again when it runs out.

Dorado is milder than I expected but excellent.
La Aurora much better than I expected.
Don Carlos is good but very strong.
Escobar rolled by Dick the Bruiser (remember him?). So tight I couldn't get a draw.
It's that time again

Staying true to my word. Time to reorder. I keep half of the samplers for aging and smoke the other half in my rotation. I have over 6,000+ cigars from 40- present years old. I have plenty great cigars to choose from but this sampler didn't last long. I keep looking at my aging humidor wanting to grab a few before their ready. Fantastic cigars all. Delivery is tomorrow and I'm gitty as a child. I recommend this sampler to all my closest friends because it can't be beat.
