CAO Brazilia Samba - Single of 1
CAO Brazilia helped introduce a wider audience to the character of Brazilian wrapper tobacco, and the Samba remains one of the line’s bolder expressions. This 6 1/4 x 54 torpedo is rolled with a dark Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, producing a medium- to full-bodied profile with the earthy, nutty, and lightly floral character that has defined the blend for years. The tapered head gives the cigar a more focused feel in hand without turning the format into the whole story. Expect a rich smoke with toasty depth and a touch of natural sweetness rather than a heavy, one-dimensional maduro profile. Smoked at an unhurried pace, the CAO Brazilia Samba generally offers about 70 to 90 minutes of smoking time, making it a solid choice when you want fuller flavor and a longer session.

Full flavored smoke. Lots of rich smoke. Smooth till the end, with no hot spots.

Ah...My old friend, the Samba. When I tell you that I have been buying these by the box for many years now, I mean that I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. This is one of 2-3 "core" lines that I keep stocked in my humidors at all times. Absolutely dependable and highly recommended to the beginning and experienced smoker alike.
Shiny dark Brazilian wrapper is always of good quality. This figurado is rolled well and ensures an excellent draw every time. Not much clip is needed. The first third is sweeter than the rest and like a cup of good coffee, this cigar becomes bolder with each draw without overpowering. It's one of those 'chewy' cigar experiences...not too much pepper, good savory and sweet balance, supple leather, coffee and brown sugar. Produces a firm gray/white ash which doesn't flake apart inconveniently on your clothes. Good to the hilt. I have never had a plug or noticeably uneven burn. I think these cigars also come in at a decent value, especially when you can grab one of the CAO promotional "add-ons." I will continue to buy and enjoy CAO's best line, the Brazilia.
