Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro Torpedo - Single of 1

Oliva gave its Melanio line a darker turn with the Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro Torpedo, replacing the original wrapper with Mexican San Andrés Maduro over aged Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Jalapa. The result is a richer expression of the blend that made the Melanio name so well known, delivering the dense, polished character associated with Oliva’s higher-end portfolio in a tapered 6 1/2 x 52 figurado. This torpedo earned major recognition when it was named the No. 6 Cigar of 2024 and received a 95-point rating, a distinction that reflects how successfully the maduro wrapper deepens the profile without obscuring the core Nicaraguan sweetness and spice. Expect a full-flavored smoke with notes often centered on dark cocoa, earth, espresso, cedar, and pepper, with the pointed head offering a more focused delivery early on. Smoked at an easy pace, this size generally offers about 75 to 95 minutes of smoking time.
