For the first time since 2012 —arguably 2008— Oliva releases an entirely new cigar line.It’s called the Oliva Gilberto, named after the family’s patriarch, and if it looks a bit familiar, it’s because it is. The cigar was originally announced as the Facundo, Gilberto Oliva Sr.’s father and son of Melanio Oliva, who got his own cigar in 2012. However, due to a trademark conflict with rum maker Bacardi, the company changed the name. Oliva Gilberto cigars are an eclectic mix of Nicaraguan fillers, Ecuadorian binder and a sumptuous Sumatran wrapper.

This cigars are excellent and for the price (about $5 per stick) I cannot be happier! On top of that, these are Churchill size! Extra long smoke!

Medium strength with nice cedar and spice notes in the first third. Second half increases a but in the pepper getting really spicy on the last lap. For sure will get more.

This is my first time purchasing at this website. I am fairly new to cigars and I've come to the conclusion that my favorite cigar size is a Churchill. I purchased these based on a friend's recommendation and even thou I am no cigar expert, they taste pretty good and the price is also pretty good. I'll continue exploring other brands in my quest for my favorite cigars.
