As a collaboration between Foundation Cigar Co. and Highclere Castle Co., the line fared well among enthusiasts, boasting a smooth mellow to medium-bodied experience. Now, the two brands have come together once again to create Highclere Castle Victorian, the darker, stronger version of its predecessor. Produced at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua, Victorian comes wrapped in a dark-hued Ecuador Habano leaf, over Brazilian Mata Fina binder and long-fillers from Nicaragua. Evenly constructed and well-packed, the blend exudes flavors of cedar, chocolate, some savory spices, and natural sweetness.
