Way before Prohibition, farmers and distillers in Western Pennsylvania werent about to let an unfair whiskey tax slide. WR 1794 is a nod to those bold folks behind the Whiskey Rebellioneveryday Americans who stood up to the government, pushed back, and actually won. This cigar packs a punch with a dark Ecuador Habano Hybrid wrapper, Indonesian Besuki binder, and a filler blend of criollo Jalapa, corojo viso from Jalapa, and ligeros from Estel and the Dominican Republic.Tarred & Feathered: Back then, this was the not-so-friendly message Western Pennsylvanians sent to excise collectors. Its the rebellion in physical form, just like this bold, uncompromising cigar.
