It got so tight they had to stop their rollers from smoking the cigars as they worked. So, the rollers improvised, taking some of the tobacco used in the No. 9 to create their own blend they could enjoy every day. Eventually, someone asked what they were all smoking, and Undercrown was born.The binder on the Undercrown is the same leaf used for the wrapper on T52. In the filler, you’ll find Mata Fina from the No. 9 blend, along with Nicaraguan ligero. Finally, a Mexican San Andres wrapper is applied up top. The result is a smooth and creamy treat.
