Square-pressed and dressed in an Ecuadorian wrapper, the Jacopo takes the Monte by Montecristo blend in a slightly more polished direction, with Dominican filler and the same Dominican Olor and Nicaraguan Corojo double binder at its core. Made in the Dominican Republic and built at medium-full strength, it starts smooth, then layers in wood, leather, pepper, and a sweet cocoa note that gives the smoke a softer, dessert-like turn. There’s a firm, hearty texture here, but the draw stays easy and the flavor stays clean, like cinnamon-dusted chocolate over toasted cedar.
