Muestra de Saka Krakatoa / 7 x 50 Box of 7

Muestra de Saka Krakatoa LE 2023 cigars are the 7th release in this highly popular series from Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Co. Having smoked every release, this was my all-time favorite! The cigars come in a coffin that has brand name on the slide off lid. Inside was a gorgeous stick covered in a marbled grain, oily and dark, almost seamless wrapper with no protruding veins. A pre light nose of cedar and barnyard hay denoted perfecting aging. Once lit, I was greeted with smoky earth along with some zesty black pepper, soon followed by a savory notes of leather, cocoa, toasted bread, and sweet spice. The burn was straight with just one touch up required the entire way, and the ash held firmly throughout the duration of the smoke. Due to its limited availability and overwhelming popularity, Muestra de Saka Krakatoa LE 2023 is likely to be very hard to find, but well worth the effort!
