La Gloria Cubana Spanish Press Box of 20
The La Gloria Cubana Spanish Press pays tribute to an incredibly rich cigar making tradition that dates back to pre-embargo Cuba. Box-pressing a cigar was different back then compared to how we do it now. Instead of using molds to press each cigar individually, manufacturers use to place cigars directly into specifically designed boxes that would achieve an even box-press. This method became known as the "Spanish Press" and now La Gloria is paying tribute to this method. This cigar starts out with toothy Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper which conceals a Mexican binder. This binder adjoins a tri-nation blend of long-fillers from Brazil, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua, resulting in a medium to full-bodied profile with delicious notes of cedar, earth, and toasted nuts!
