The AVO Heritage Special Toro is a standout in the AVO Heritage line, created by Avo Uvezian and master blender Hendrik Kelner. It was the first AVO cigar to feature a 60-ring gauge, introduced in response to growing demand for larger formats. This cigar uses specially fermented tobaccos, including a high percentage of Ligero, which gives it a spicy, full-bodied profile. The blend includes Dominican and Peruvian fillers, a Dominican binder, and a Cuban-seed Ecuadorian wrapper also used in AVO’s 2009 Limited Edition “Compañero.” The flavor is bold and complex, with notes of spice, wood, leather, and a touch of sweetness.
